Last night was the annual celebratory kiki hosted in honour of South Africa’s most stylish people. The event was held at its new home Sandton City. Looks like Hyde Park Corner lost two of the key fashion events that used to be hosted at their premises for a few years to Sandton City. This last season SA Fashion moved from Hyde Park Corner to Sandton City as well as its new venue of choice. The SA Style Awards were attended by not more than 240 guests. I was once told that is the tight threshold number Gill Gregor caps the list since the inception of the awards. If you know the Joburg social circles scene you will be aware of how water-tight a Zebra Square list is. It is either you are in, or you are completely out. Unless your Joanne Scamming ways are on a 1-hundred.
