After a near sell-out season on the National Arts Festival (NAF) Main programme last year, the Cape Dance Company (CDC) under the directorship of Debbie Turner presented yet another dance feat. A triple bill of diverse and neo-classical and contemporary dance works choreographed by Andrea Schermoly, Jose Agudo (Spain) and Mthuthuzeli November. The first time I saw Mthuthuzeli November perform was at the NAF in 2014 and I was absolutely blown away. November’ influence in this year’s CDC presentation was evident.
