I love the Clubmaster! That frame does it for me! Especially the Clubmaster over-sized classic frame in matte avana. THE BEST!!

  • Kearabilwe | Aug 5, 2015 at 4:36 pm

Aviators are my favourite simply because they are timeless.

Wayfarers. Had my pair for 2 years now, it’s the perfect pair of sunglasses.

My favorite frames are definitely the aviators. My dad gave me his vintage golden aviators that he used to wear whilst in the military. They’re by far my most cherished accessory.

This is actually such a difficult question! I really love the old school Aviators so I can get my Top Gun on in Mordor; but the Clubmaster frames are the perfect blend of Aviator and Wayfarer…………Have to say………..Clubmaster! Litterally just flipped a coin on that on! These ones in particular:
Don’t know what I like more, the Brushed Gunmetal color or the Turquoise (Yes I had to look up the spelling of that) branding on the lens – #Epic 😉

I’m not new to the Ray-Ban brand, but it’s been a while since I picked up a pair of their sunglasses. I used to wear the Wayfarer frame with prescription lenses and loved them, but have always wanted to own a pair of aviators. So, when my package from SBG arrived and my lovely little turquoise (or as they call it, “Grey Mirror Green”) and gold aviators were finally mine to wear – I was pumped.

Each frame appeals to a certain market, but aviators will live on in infamy and will remain a fashion trend for a long time yet

And what better place to rock a pair than in the sun watching some amazing bands and chilling out at oppikoppi!

Clubmaster because they are the one Noah (aka the man with the horn-rimmed glasses) from TV show HEROES wears and he is one of my favourite characters on that show. Heroes was the only show my mum let us watch growing up because they had two Japanese character who actually SPOKE Japanese so the show and the glasses hold a special place in my heart <3

The RB5285 (I think that’s what they are called) They were my first pair of Rays and goshdanggit! they fit my face like Cinderella’s glass slipper. They are nice and big but the corners are slightly rounded off to sheer perfection.

Hands down the Clubmaster because they are the glasses Noah (aka the man with the horn-rimmed glasses) from the TV show HEROES wears. Noah is by far my favourite character in the series (and is coming back for the reboot **yay**). HEROES is one of the those TV shows that hold a special place in my childhood because it was the only Tv show my mum let us watch (very Wednesday nigh SABC 3) because was the only show with Japanese people who actually SPOKE Japanese (Im Japanese btw). So Clubmasters (aka horn-rimmed glasses) will FOREVER have a special place in my heart.
