Get The Look: SuperElla Moment In The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith
I spent a beautiful afternoon of firsts. I got invited by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Sandton to their exclusive Rolls-Royce Black Badge media driving experience at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. The invite enticed me to come experience and discover from behind the wheel, the intensity of Black Badge’s potent drive, increased torque and enhanced dynamics. I had never been to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit before nor had I ever drove a Rolls-Royce let alone the newly launched Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith and Ghost respectively. So it was a no-brainer for me to attend, although the thought of tracking all the way to Kyalami on a Friday afternoon midst traffic was off-putting. Also, it was a perfect excuse for me to wear my newly purchased SuperElla asymmetric top, paired it with Markham slacks, Tossoni suede slip-ops from Spitz and Ray-Ban frames.
Yes, driving the car was incredibly amazing and exhilarating! Everything about the vehicle is amazing, which doesn’t come as a surprise considering the R7.5million for a Wraith and R6million for a Ghost price tag it comes with. Naturally, all should be amazing and beyond. Word is, there is already three customers in South Africa who have ordered the vehicles and awaiting their new luxe sparkly super toy. If you are one of them and your reading this, drop me a mail and let’s do tea soon. I need a mentor.
The Rolls-Royce Black Badge is described as “Black Badge is an attitude to life, an aspect of the Rolls-Royce brand that appeals to those people who are elusive and defiant, the risk takers and disruptors who break the rules and laugh in the face of convention. They are driven by a restless spirit. They play hard and they change the world. Technically and aesthetically Black Badge is the alter ego of Rolls-Royce, darker, more assertive, more confident and powerful, and more demanding. With Black Badge we have created the most commanding presence on the super-luxury landscape. It is a truly transformative moment for our great brand.” Images Credit: Jerri Mokgofe Photography
